‘3 roses, 9 ravens, 12 months’, exhibition and book presentation by Jaap Scheeren
Within the project ‘Faraway So Close’, Fw: brings together the work of two photographers that each create their own world as a kind of new reality, by using elements from reality. In this way important issues of contemporary life are questioned, as well as conventional thoughts about photography in general. In ‘3 roses, 9 ravens, 12 months’, Jaap Scheeren (1979) shows a parallel reality that relativises delusion with a good sense of humor. The exhibition will be shown until March 3. Following, Babette Kleijn exhibits ‘My Old Europe’ as part of this duo presentation. Taco Hidde Bakker will compile an independent publication following the common theme of the exhibitions.
